Seems likely, their website changed recently to just the dates of next years fest, and it was about this time last year they announced

Mogwai said they have an exciting announcement this week. Frank Turner says he will be confirmed for a UK festival this week.

At a guess it'sUK dates by a big artist - Taylor Swift, Gaga - that put them in the vicinity in the right timeframe.
