it's probably not that financially savvy. Unlike most bands I reckon they've already rung every penny they're likely to get from music sales, and they'll be getting much more for their own shows than they would a show at Glasto.

But anyway, as I understand it, he simply feels its the wrong sort of place for them to be playing.

And being limited to what they can do with The Pyramid as against their own extravagant stage shows

as Gary Barlow doesn't want to do it.

Thats's SIR Gary to you. He wasn't knighted by our nation's god-appointed sovereign Queen so that common oiks like you could get all familiar, or so that the taxman could collect any of his god given money.

Lack of bangers on new album more important.

How well would the new album go down with the Pyramid crowd that are  just wanting to hear Brianstorm and I Bet  ?

Where’s all this tax beef on the Arctic Monkeys threads?

I, the taxpayer, have provided some Karmic balancing where the Arctics are concerned, by either pirating or buying their albums in second hand CD shops.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
