I don’t think I would feel like I’d seen Fleetwood Mac if I saw them without Lindsay, tbh. Might as well book Axl/DC.

Would still be a better night's entertainment than The Strokes.

From my POV the loss of the Hamster isn't catastrophic.  Stevie and Christine are way more important.

When I saw Fleetwood Mac it was the Lindsay Buckingham show with a few special guests. Can’t get my head around one of their gigs without him.

It's happened before....they also lost Christine for a long time.

Maybe it's just me. Personally he came across like a bit of a wally. The Mike Love of Don Henleys.

My take on the Fleetwood Mac 'debacle', because that's what the group is at the moment; is that Lindsey quite rightly got a fair pay off but isn't completely out of the picture. He wanted to do his own thing for a few months which is completely understandable as he had just finished recording and touring effectively a Stevie-less Mac album with Christine. But Stevie Nicks was ready to tour again and he wasn't so he got ousted.

This tour of stadiums is relatively small compared to previous years so I don't think it's as much about the money anymore, although the ticket prices are astronomical.

Emily has said they are not playing, but is that due to their previous financial demands?

Or is that due to the break up of the band with Lindsey leaving and the uncertaintly that brings? Plus the fact that it's not a real FM without Buckingham.

Now that he's settled with them could he possibly make yet another comeback and request that they lower their normal fee and for the sake of their legacy, headline Glastonbury as a harmonious 5 piece once more?

If Mick offered to do it at a lower fee I'm sure they'd be accepted.

Have they even been asked again since they chose the Isle Of Wight instead a few years ago?

We went well over 1,000 back in 2015.

Now that was a thread - the moans about Sprinty Dave, the reaction to Kanye, the Lonsdale petition, Sprinty Dave's accident, the scrabble to find another two headliners, The Who....

SuperGroup. Don't forget the SuperGroup.
