The original Sugababes lineup remains the best.   One Touch was a genuinely brilliant pop record.   The one song they released when they returned as "Mutya Keisha Siobhan" was a 10/10 jam also.

I'm another one who saw the Amelle/Keisha/Heidi lineup at V2006 though and had a blast.

Regarding Lindsay Buckingham's absence. Yes his guitar work really is sublime, one of the best. But there aren't many of his songs that he solely wrote that are missed in the set. Tusk and My Little Demon for example I won't miss. Don't Stop he co-wrote with Christine etc so they still play it. You've got all of Stevie's and Christine's which, apart from his 'Go Your Own Way', tend to be better known anyway. But yes, his guitar work can never be replaced.

That VFestival was an important test case - to see if the two eldest Wofflings (then quite young) could handle a festival. If they passed, they got to go to Glastonbury (they did).

Me too, although I don’t know what 6 year old Henry Jnr made of Radiohead belting out The National Anthem et  al, whilst he was up on my shoulders. He enjoyed Beck and his puppets beforehand though

I don’t think I would feel like I’d seen Fleetwood Mac if I saw them without Lindsay, tbh. Might as well book Axl/DC.

Would still be a better night's entertainment than The Strokes.

From my POV the loss of the Hamster isn't catastrophic.  Stevie and Christine are way more important.

When I saw Fleetwood Mac it was the Lindsay Buckingham show with a few special guests. Can’t get my head around one of their gigs without him.

It's happened before....they also lost Christine for a long time.

Maybe it's just me. Personally he came across like a bit of a wally. The Mike Love of Don Henleys.

    • Had a lovely day in Prague now off to the festival. Very excited hope we all have fun regardless of weather!!
    • Iran are winning. If US aren't going to do the full invasion thing, then they may as well admit defeat and do what is needed to get the strait opened. Iran obviously have decided they can take any pain and stick it out as they have all the cards with this Hormuz thing. But obviously Trump can't admit defeat, and Israel just want this to keep going...and maybe it will carry on like this till after elections in both US and Israel towards the end of this year. God knows how the global economy will be by then.
    • All kicking off in N Ireland, all aided and abetted on videos that get circulated on social media and Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson telling people to take to the streets. Social media needs regulating same as publishers, if they have algorithms that push whatever to people then they are effectively publishers anyway. The problem is just going to get worse and worse.
