Fella tweeted various E Street members about Glastonbury 2019. SVZ replied ‘we’re ready’.

Appreciated both of those.

I assume that's just an enthusiastic response rather than cause for rumours. Though Bruce & E Street would be the only Pyramid headliner I would make sure I see. In spite reviews on here of the last time they played.

There are people still in comas from the last time he played.

What was the issue? Not enough hits or he was just boring to watch? I'm curious how a back catalogue like his can be such a let down.

I had a great time but I'm a Springsteen fan and it was my 1st time seeing him plus my 1st G.

Just looking at the setlist and it started a bit slow but the  encore and last few songs were on point.

Loads around were waiting for Born in the USA and I was like he's wont play so a few left.

I just looked at it and yeah maybe it starts bit heavy with "new" stuff but he hits the classics as well. Those three covers in the middle would slow it down for me.

I'm by no means a big fan but had heard great things about his live show so went along quite excited. Was so bored. Really just one for the hardcore fans - and I stayed to the end. I've no doubt it was a great performance if you're a fan, but he was really just playing to the fans. And he went over curfew, it seemed to last for bloody ever. I think a good headline set should aim to be a bit more accessible.

Doubt they'd play again, though.

Agreed, even the fans don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of bored people.

Does anyone think we might get an early announcement of a headliner this year? Maybe just before or just after Ticket day.

I'm sure it has happened in previous years but I might be imagining it. We usually have quite a few announced acts before the big reveal in April?

I very much doubt we'll get anything before ticket day.

And while it seems quite possible that The Cure are signed and sealed and could be announced at any time from now, my guess is that they'll be held back for a long while so that the festivals that need to sell tickets on their appearance get a good shot at it - possibly until April.

Glastonbury don't need to announce early, and most if not all of the earlier announcements are driven by the band's wishes.

You need the all hallowed thingy for dates and undiscernable patterns. Normally the legend slot is known quite early on.
