Yes but this was after their Glasto show and Ricky Wilson got hype etc from The Voice, they didn't do an arena tour then go onto open while closing JP. Their tour before that was Academies and smaller.

They announced the O2 show before they played Glastonbury, just to be pedantic.

No they didn't, that tour was announced in August.

Most of the tour yes, but they'd already announced the O2 and the 'homecoming' in Leeds in April.. doesn't really matter but just wanted to point that out :)

In about 17 years this could evolve into a full blown scrap.

My money's on Quinner.

It would be a travesty of biblical proportions if the Friday hangover slot was given to Ashcroft

Knowing that @Woffy's destroying a longdrop somewhere would somehow make watching the miserable coathanger a little more bearable.

Imagine drowning in a lake of Sting records, surely that's the most horrible death imaginable? The undertow pulls you down, you try to scream, but An Englishman In New York floods your lungs... I'm going to have nightmares.

The last thing you hear is that fucking drum breakdown that was shoehorned in there like a knob gag in a funeral speech.

Can we just enjoy the glory that is a festival poster that has Aphex Twin, Grace Jones, Slayer, Solange and Van Morrison on a single line?

Best dinner party ever.

New names being announced for Mad Cool tomorrow:

Ryan Adams, Wilco, Dinosaur Jr., Spoon, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Foster the People, Deap Vally, Kodaline, Kiasmos, Röyksopp, Boys Noize, Moderat, Xavier Rudd and Belako.

Didn't know Spoon were coming back. Royksopp neither. Didn't know Foster the People were still a thing. Guessing a lot of these will land at Glastonbury or Latitude.
