2016 Line Up Poster

[When Jokers Attack]

Very happy with that,  especially Beck, Sigur Ros and Kurt Vile. 

This will be my 7th glasto and there are so many acts here that I haven't seen  on  a glasto line-up  before, great variety.

There is some good strength in depth throughout the poster.

Ignoring the inevitable clashes, I'd love to see LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, The Last Shadow Puppets, Skepta, Grimes, Sigur Ros, Ezra Furman, Kurt Vile, Roisin Murphy, Santigold, Bat for Lashes, St. Etienne, Lapsley, Hinds, Cyndi Lauper, Guy Garvey, Richard Hawley, Nao, Bring Me The Horizon, John Grant, Little Simz, Daughter, Laura Mvula, Savages, New Order, Beck. Then on top of that there's the ones I wouldn't mind seeing, ones I don't know that I'd be happy to discover and plenty more to be announced.

2016 is going to be a good one!

I agree.  Not amazing, but it is a nice line-up with lots to discover.  Only a bit disappointed that Iggy Pop and Parquet Courts are not on it.

It's the addition of Disclosure that makes me think they BMTH won't be headlining Other now as I'd guess LCD/New Order/Disclosure will be?  Unless LCD or Disclosure are a Pyramid sub instead.

Savages, Daughter, John Grant, Explosions in the Sky, Hinds, Muse, Beck, ELO, PJHarvey, ZZ Top, New Order, Grimes, Sigur Ros, Chvrches, M83, Kurt Vile, Mercury Rev, Wolf Alice, Bat for Lashes, Of Monsters & Men will do for now!

The best thing is we have Band of Horses and The Coral will most likely be taking a lower down Other spot.

that's what I'm thinking yeah, I think somebody said on here that they heard Bastille in to Disclosure on the Friday night (long before today's announcements). Which would move LCD somewhere? Friday night John Peel? Sunday night Other moving BMTH down? Or even Pyramid subbing maybe Coldplay, moving Ellie Goulding down?

2014's Other Stage Headliner Jake Bugg is squashed into a corner of this year poster. Could be quite a drop for him.

Definitely seems to be a whole load less pure pop than last year.

Pyramid 2015 was an absolutely Capital FM haven. Although there's some obvious poppy acts around this year (including the headliners) - it seems like Pyramid might be somewhere worth visiting again.

This line up has to be the one with the fewest acts I've cared about of any year. HOWEVER, the ones I want to see I *really* want to see...like LCD Soundsystem, Beck, St Etienne, Grimes, PJ Harvey and Mac Demarco

14 names I want to see already. That is not a bad start at all.

Initially I was really disapointed - but as I study it it gets better and better...

 

Let's hope many are disappointed though - I havent got a ticket yet!
