Silver Hayes Lineup

The Friday clash could be very annoying considering there is virtually nothing I fancy on the Saturday ( I know there are still plenty to be added). But SFA, Hot Chip and Leftfield all playing at the same time would be a pisstake.

Any reason you think Leftfield will be Friday? Are silver Hayes headliners ever on later?

I know silver Hayes doesn't get much love on here but I love the place. The last two years I haven't had a clue who half the names playing the blues and the gully are but every time I've had a random hour there the atmosphere has been amazing, def venturing back into those two stages again this year

I like the area too especially "The Blues". In true Glastonbury style I managed to fall asleep standing up (whilst in the arms of my BF), during Mungo's Hifi set last year... that bass .. so relaxing.. :beach:

I'm a big fan of soca so it's great to see Jus Now back with Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lions - they'll bring some energy

I guess most of the names will be a part of whats on the list - Davidde Squillace, Ellen Alien, Mees Dierdrop. Possibly Jamie Jones & Jackmaster too. All play Circo Loco nights in Ibiza

I was really hoping theyd be adding people, which is why they put it as circo loco, but youre probably right. I wouldnt mind a jamie jones b2b seth troxler. Martinez brothers and tale of us are busy that weekend according to resident advisor.

The problem now with so many festivals poping up around europe is the djs are probably making a lot more money elsewhere.

Seriously? Grandmaster Flash? Roni Size? Two DJ's bigger than any of those you've just mentioned (subjective, of course).

Guess it comes down to taste. I wouldn't get excited about either of those whereas last year there was loads on that I wanted to see. Not nearly as much good techno this time around.

Sorry to be thick, but what on earth is a "boat party"?

It's the front of the Wow stage which mildly resembles a boat. They have outdoor raves every afternoon. Walked past a couple of times last year and it looked good. To be fair people were still going for it during the Saturday downpour...I took cover in the sonic tent!

Under N - "Newham Generals & Logan Sama" ;)

On the Blues too, gonna be big!

Now I see, I'm suitably, theve basically gone and got the 4-5 biggest names in grime out there at the mo, would be the cherry on top if JME shows up with skepta.

Early Saturday night is SORTED big narstie followed by skepta then over to the pyramid for yeezy on my, what a way to kick off a serious night!!

So i need Leftfield to headline Wow on Friday or Sunday to avoid clashes since Wow headline is after midnight.

Confirmed for Sonic on the area page on the website. Gonna clash with all the other headliners I'm afraid.

More likely to be the other way round, Skepta coming on during Kanye.

If they do, I'd rather they debuted a prospective collaboration rather than just do That's Not Me. I'm not big into guests doing their own songs during other acts' sets.

yeah i'm not a fan of this either, but it's definitely what i can see happening in Kanye's set for the likes of Skepta and Big Sean as was the case for his London show. hopefully won't go too overboard with it though like Outkast did with Future at Coachella

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
    • Did you camp or go for a hotel? I looked into it briefly and seems easy enough to get back to Nuremberg.
