Its just when you compare it to last years. Last year we had Ben Klock, Marcell Dettman, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice...Legendary DJs.

This year there is just no wow factor for me. Of course it is all subjective.

My thoughts exactly, there are good djs on that list but other than maybe JESuS theres not really anything youd go out your way to see like last year.

Yeah last year's DJ lineup was savage, Maya Jane Coles and Hot Since 82 as well as those you mention.

But I think the live acts this year are stellar.

The 3 Sonic headliners are pioneers

Who are the headliners?

Milky Chance at the Gully!

Will surely play elsewhere as well...

They will be playing on the sunday as they have other festivals on the other days, which is annoying for me as 3 of my must see acts are on Sunday and Its usually my lack of serotonin day. Edited by Festivalyeah

So much on there that I don't know, which excites me, I've already discovered a few acts that I really like who weren't on my radar. I'm sure I'll find more as I plough through the list.

Seriously? Grandmaster Flash? Roni Size? Two DJ's bigger than any of those you've just mentioned (subjective, of course).

Well grandmaster flash pretty much invented DJ'ing as we know it, right? wasn't it him who built the first crossfader, scratching and pretty much DJing as we know it?

Somehow, this has pleased me more than the main lineup.

Roni Size, Smith and Mighty, Tricky, Grandmaster Flash, Mungo's Hifi to name but a few.

I also used to work with Christophe. Lovely bloke.

Hoping that Blues' Saturday night special guest is Rebel Sound in the Chase & Status secret set slot from last year (possible, seeing as Shy FX is around)

I've got a feeling Rebel Sound will be on Arcadia.

Tricky and Leftfield for me.

Agree that it will be totally rammed for Leftfield. Few years back didn't they headline the other stage?

Circoloco jumps out

Assuming thatll be the same as last year taking over the blues on thursday night. Hopefully a few big names there. Last year it was davide squillace, apollonia, tale of us and richie hawtin.

I hope so, I didn't have a ticket last year but was envious of that, saw tale of us at dc-10 last summer, that's my favourite sort of stuff. Will be brilliant if it is on the Thursday again as some of my group will probably be happy to rather than it clashing with something on another day.

I guess most of the names will be a part of whats on the list - Davidde Squillace, Ellen Alien, Mees Dierdrop. Possibly Jamie Jones & Jackmaster too. All play Circo Loco nights in Ibiza

Really pleased Real Lies have made the line up. They dont have much material out at the moment but I got put on to them recently and am really enjoying what im hearing. Its a real summer time vibe sound. They'll appeal to fans of Jungle *The band that is* but have more of an Acid House/New Order inffluence going on.
