I agree to a certain extent. Personally I think more ground will get swallowed up inside the site and more people will camp outside over the next few years. Theres almost a ring of glamping around the festival now, can only see that getting bigger

Chatted to the guys working at sticklinch and they said the reason it was created was because they had so many complaints from people struggling to walk up the hill to Worthy View

i think maybe partly the planning of Icon is to keep the acts underground so you have the room if it all gets too busy in the SE corner and plenty of space to filter people through who enter the SE corner through block 9. Putting on fatboy slim etc on icon is just gonna cause a massive crush of people trying to get in and make it even more overcrowded

Think the Park needs an update as well TBH Nothings changed for ages.

You get some merch on sale at some of the festival merch shops scattered around the site. At the side of west holts you usually get a stall where you can go and buy merch and get it signed by artists playing on the west holts stage

Just wondering what Mr Eavis gets up to these days with the festival? Obviously Emily has taken up the reigns and Melvin Benn's back behind the scenes (or at least was last year) and there's a whole team of producers, managers etc etc running various areas. Reckon he still does much? Does he even drive around in his red landcover these days? Can't believe he's approaching 90!

Worst case scenario is your gonna have to go to the ticket office on site with as much info as possible and speak to the people there. Mates ticket was sent to Spain last year didnt arrive on time and he spent Weds night sat outside the ticket office and was let in thurs morning. You could also go to your local post office and see if a friendly postie will do something for you on headed paper
