Assume you mean the “Dome” that will be in the woods?

I think we should be able to see the new location of the main glade stage when it starts to go up as it’s out in the open field?

I'd like to vote for keeping them in the thread!

After a while, things tend to slow down as site access gets more restricted. Remember those YouTube videos of delivery drivers recording their drives around site in 2019?

I tried to find the video of that trucker doing a delivery the other day but couldn't find it!

I think Pangea was probably sold as scrap and the people dismantling it are the scrap merchants, I think that would explain the unceremonious way it was toppled. They still would’ve made a loss on it, but I don’t think it would make sense to pay people to dismantle it then have to sell it as scrap, may as well offer it out to someone who will take it down themselves.

If I remember rightly GFEL had the vlogger take it down - had breached conditions of his employers contract with the festival or something like that.

I am quite happy to see pics of what’s happening. It would be cruel now after weeks of teasing, speculation, informed and ill informed guessing  to suddenly cut them! Remember the withdrawal symptoms when the camera was down.

No ones saying the pics shouldn't be posted - just that they should have their own place. Surely two threads, as has been suggested, solves all issues:

  • Glastocam - for discussion about the webcam
  • Site photos (Spoiler alert) - for any photos taken on site and potential spoilers of new things

Genuinely surprised this has caused any controversy but here we are. I'll probably be in both but fully appreciate the people who wish to discuss the webcam without seeing close up pictures of the new bits.

It hasn’t been an issue yet tbh and it’s definitely not worth even a slightly heated debate, but it basically comes down to either absolutely everyone being able to read this thread or some people feeling like they have to exclude themselves from it. Politely asking for any spoilery photos to go in a separate thread isn’t too much bother I’d say.

Excellent compromise. I vote for this. I'll make the thread.

Agree, this is a good idea.  And gives us two threads to view to get away from all the unpleasantness on the other threads  😔

      If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/

      I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD

      I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
