  1. Wonderful festival. 25 bands over 3.5 days, would have been more if I hadn't gone back to the tent at 9.30pm on Friday for a quick rest and freshen up.. And woke at 2am. Doh! Highlights were Stereolab, the surprise appearance by The wedding present, Gwenno and TVAM. POZI blew me away, Hen Ogledd were fab. No disappointment for me, loved it all!
  2. Can anyone tell me what the ground is like? Wellies or walking boots for going in? Thanks
  3. I only wanted to see 2 things on Saturday afternoon... Jarvis and Hen Ogledd - guess what.... CLASH!!!! 😞 Thanks for the updates though @benali, now if you could organise for a better weather forecast....
  4. Is there usually much of a queue at 10am on thursday?
  5. Pay, if I recall correctly
  6. Just messaged a friend about these
  7. Plenty of food choices, some you will recognise from glasto, others more local, like the school pta stall which sold the most amazing cakes and savoury pies!
  8. Yes, Far Out is a massive tent, Chai Wallahs is also a tent but smaller. The others you're left to the elements so go prepared is all I can say!
  9. Which festivals are under which ownership now then?
  10. Having gone from being a bit underwhelmed by the line up, I've just gone through clashfinder and the only time I'm going for a wee is sunday lunchtime!! Having said that, not much going on the rest of sunday so its new music discovery day! Any recommendations, prefer psych/indie to americana!
  11. You're in for a treat! If you're in blue car park, its minutes, probably 10-12 mins from its most distant points!
  12. Its a really pleasant walk along the canal, about 4 miles into Crickhowell, steep climb up to it at the festival end and steep descent again at the Crickhowell end though, but nice and flat the rest of the way.
  13. Interesing that.. Last year we took our own booze, wine/spirits mainly, but bought plenty of ale in there. The choice of ale and cider is superb, reasonably priced and good quality. Who wouldn't choose that over a warm fizzy can of something? Great policy!
  14. Absolutely right, small steps are brilliant, none of us can do everything, there's always compromise and therefore improvement to be done x
  15. That's sad, I'm sorry for your loss x

    Neighbours 2019

Mainly friendly neighbours, one group infront were peeing behind their tent and leaving their toilet paper... Basically right outside our door. We called them out on it and they didn't do it again. About 2 groups away, a bunch of kids obviously hammered all weekend were attracting attention of security by sunday, turns out at least one of them was thieving, got caught and kicked out. Needless to say the ones remaining left their camp in an absolute disgrace on monday. Put a bit of a down on it.
  20. Did anyone see Jarvis at this year's festival?
