I know full well that there's probably loads of activity going on that the camera can't see, but it feels like there's sod all going on.  I kinda need that "big-thing-is-happening" fix!

The only building work we saw was at Greenpeace or at least in that area, with 10 weeks left it will soon heat up.

Didn't someone say fence starts to go up on Wednesday?

I did, yeah. Just quoting Emily from Rob da Bank's podcast. She said the fence build starts on 1st May.

I reckon we'll see some activity in the Park soon. The stage and ribbon tower always tend to go up early, from memory.

They're collecting the silage in The Park now, so the ground will be clear after today.

Always takes me back to when I was a kid. Wide grass verges which the council would cut - glorious smell and then a bollocking when we went in the house covered in clippings.

Haha same here.

Used to get a bollocking off the local farmer when i was a nipper we used to pile all his grass up into big mounds.

Good times.

Can us Piltonions not do anything in secret these days ? now I’ll have to find a new safe place

well if you must use a bloody great digger(not the dog one ) ... most will be subtle and use a trowel :) ..(.. almost like me trying to break into the festival wearing the pyramid stage lit up on my head )

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
