One thing I've always wondered is how they know where the fence goes every year when putting it up. Presumably some sort of markers in the ground or GPS coordinates etc, can anyone shed light on that?

I think the fence post holders stay in the ground permanently

it may not be Carlsberg, there are a lot of trailers parked on Red that appear en masse everytime and are used as storage.  Could be any old shite in it.

On another note, the signs banning dogs and other animals from site have gone up at the entrances.  Himself is not going to be happy.  Best break out the XL sheep costume for him.

Looking at the Ribbon Tower start to show itself, I'm always struck by how pathetic the gradient up the hill in the Park looks on the webcam!

Bugger, that's deceptive! Especially the 2016 version...

Ben

Shall we run up it?

I love the way this thread is still going at night. I'm imagining the Glasto faithful peering at a black screen thinking to themselves "I saw some HEADLIGHTS!"

Well there is something:

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
