gutted as i love the glade but theres not much there my cup of tea this year. Would love to have seen a ross from friends / four tet / overmono live set in there one day. George Fitzgerald was awesome in 2019.

The thing is, I no longer smoke and would really like to avoid doing so whilst at Glastonbury (That taste in the morning 🤮). Does anyone know if vaping would scratch that itch? And if so - have any recommendation on what to buy for five days on the farm?

They definitely do scratch the itch.  I've pretty much stopped smoking tobacco (unless there's something extra in it) and use my vape exclusively with no issues.

The disposable vape pens are pretty good.  They satisfy the cravings but they are on the strong side nicotine wise so a couple should see you through the festival.

As much as I'd love to recommend a host of vape pens, if it's only for the festival then a couple of disposable ones will be perfect for you

Huge line-up for the Glade, albeit for me, like some in here, not that rich a vein.

Saying that, across the two venues so far dropped, I'd look to try to find space for:

Glade
The Utopia Strong (psych-drone with Steve Davis twiddling knobs...yes please)
Maria Chiara Agirò
Richard Fearless

Dome
Tristan, Regan - scratching my Thursday night psytrance itch
Klaus Blatter - mental, but some old school acid house would be lovely
Christopher Coe - now he could be really good. Hoping he gets a nicely late slot
Minor Conflict - in no way E/D, but the harp+bass+drums set-up sounds intriguing

Interesting that no drop for the Spaceport etc. It's clear that the Glade is going to be one of the most-changed areas, but I did like that dingy box!

He's played D&B sets before. I remember one he did in Plymouth where Bukem played a house set and Sasha did the D&B.

Completely and utterly here for that should it transpire! Never heard him play any DnB live before.

Not seen Annie Mac DJ before, what style does she play?

Pretty standard house, its good fun - there's a reason why she gets the slots she does despite having no tracks of her own

I'm more of a techno person but if it's a good laugh I may check her out if i'm in the area, which is quite likely as I love The Glade.

Now whether or not he's actually playing is the question... 🤞

Saw his Coachella set and have tickets to Toronto this fall, but will absolutely see him again at Glasto if here's there.

    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
    • If we are guessing then I think it's   Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls   Weezer   The All-American Rejects
    • Everyone who was there has said how amazing it was so makes the excitement grow even more.  The XX and actually Kneecap were both very good too.     Roll on 3 weeks time
    • Fallow year merch not for me... I'm not interested in celebrating this occasion - in fact I think it's stupid 🙂    Covid wiped out 2020 and 2021 so we should have another year or two before the fallow, in my opinion.  Probably a bit late to change their minds now though!
