Didn't someone say earlier that Emily had tweeted and said the lineup will be out before the resale? or did I imagine that? Or was it bollocks? Can't be arsed to do the whole twitter thing

Someone said it this morning...but there's nowt I can find quoting her?

..I just can't believe its past ticket balance deadline now and we're still apparently not allowed to see what we've paid for,.....

We paid for entry to Glastonbury! The music will come later.

Yeah she said there would be no announcement until after the resale.

There was a tweet I saw, but upon closer inspection I think it was either subsequently deleted or someone doctored a tweet and retweeted it to appear as though there was a response

Edit: http://twitter.com/emilyeavis/status/585516379530514432

That's from 2013 ;)

I'm quietly confident it'll be next week - then again I was quietly confident it was set to be announced in the week before the balance payment window.

EDIT: Unless Nal is correct re: EE saying it will be after the resale...

If you look at the article about the resale it uses the same picture as the line-up page. Perhaps that's why there was some activity on it earlier on.

Be the easiest image to add from there WordPress content/database. Probably one of the last photos that uploaded. It's just a featured image

I'm aware of that dude but considering I've been checking this thing for the last fortnight the frustration creeps in, only human.....besides I never really get into the Glasto spirit until I can look into what bands are playing start discovering great new tunes etc.....and their delaying that dammit! Ha

I get it if eh need to keep the third headliner tba for now....but we've had nothing literally nothing when compared to what's still to annouce....no reason for that I can think of.

While the obsession with the 3rd headliner has been rumbling away a few acts have sneaked in already. And a few SRs to be confirmed too. Get cracking!

I'm kinda hoping they hold off until after the resale just to annoy people now. I mean, sure I'm checking this thread every 5 minutes and my managers are beginning to notice, but given some people on Twitter; it's worth waiting.

Van Morrison is one that caught me by surprise this morning, hopefully that turns out to be true. Own gigs are far too expensive for me these days, and his voice seems to have held up well - or at least relatively speaking.

Yeah was tempted to go see him in Dublin but at 80 euro for the cheap seats.........

Can't believe they still havnt annouced anything....fuck the third headliner fuck giving us a full lineup just.....anything, a few stages, Shang ri la, whatever.....I just can't believe its past ticket balance deadline now and we're still apparently not allowed to see what we've paid for,.....starting to verge on the 'getting pissed off' now I have to say, or though maybe thats frustration.

Quite, I am not pissed off, nor wanting the full music line up or the main stages...but just something, just to ease the cabin fever, give us something else to dicuss/get excited over!

Just the theatre and circus annoucement would go down a treat right now, just something to talk about!!!

Exclusive to Reading, I think.

Besides, don't think they are there just yet. I'm sure some people would argue against me but I feel it would be a waste of a slot.

Yeah, if they were to play this year then I reckon subbing the Other stage would have been a good slot for them but obviously they're ruled out.

    • exactly. give them mordor slot when I have other alternatives, not Wednesday
    • Absolutely love her record, System. Definitely an album that rewards a bit of commitment.   She's right on my must-see list. Hoping she's in the Walled Garden, as I think her sound might be a bit muddy if she's early-ish in Far Out.   Ben
    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
    • That Wednesday Razzmatazz slot is one of the best/prime slots!
