the cynic in me cant help but believe that we are deliberately being spoon fed false information by people on the inside who know its Prince because if it leaks it wont happen.

Unless 7 or 8pm tonight, it won't be today, but if what Neil has said is true it does make you wonder why they didn't put the poster out with TBA for the other headliner

My opinion would be why would they be going to such lengths to keep it hidden if its not him, and somebody who would be not as well received / or be a let down if the masses think its him again....

Personally can't see it being announced tonight. Don't they generally take the site offline for a day or so and just have the line up on the homepage?

With the fact lots of people will be paying their tickets off by following a link from the official site I can't see them doing that on the final day that balance's need to be paid.

Of course I may be wrong though.

Yes! Saw them a few years back and he came on very late, stopped the gig twice after being bottled, walked off stage and out of the arena and off down the street! Before he came back 45 minutes later and finished at 1am. Whats not to love about that?!

I've found the lack of communication in general from the festival this year rather odd. The balance window had come and (nearly) gone with barely a mention on the official site.

I sincerely doubt any festivals would willingly put them on their bill in their current guise. The debacles of DL06 and R&L10 have no doubt made them unbookable.

for that to be true, we'd have had lost of false rumours. We've had nothing hence the desperate Stone Roses to headline based on who Emily follows and other assorted 'signs'.

It's been a complete media blackout. There's been no info - dead end or otherwise.
