as others are being ruled out its becoming more likely that the Arctics could be playing.

a source that has shown over time that he definitely gets good info* has mailed in to tell us that the Monkeys will headline the Friday at Glasto.

While I can't guarantee what he's said is accurate I'm inclined to believe him about this.

* his record has about 50% accuracy, but due to some of what he's told us previously I know for certain that he's done more than just guessing with that previous info. There could be perfectly reasonable reasons why he's not been been fully accurate previously - such as the difference between what someone is trying to be put together and what it has been able to put together.

He also says that the Stones will play the Saturday - but I'm taking that as him having been told that if they're playing it will be on the Saturday.

I would prefer WTT over Gaga for the 'poppier' headliner but I'm not complaining at all. I'd only see her if there was nothing else that took my fancy but she a great act for the final night. Certainly better than Beyonce.

If it is Monkeys - Stones - Gaga then IMO that is a great mix of headliners especially if you compare it with what T have.

All we need with that is Biffy / Black Keys / Prodigy for the Other on the Gaga night.

Is this just a guess or based on information?

Would be interesting to see AM play again, especially with this 'heavier' fifth album they are set to release. I think they'd be better than 2007 for sure, if anything they have more material to choose from so it'd be a more interesting set!

In some ways I'd be disappointed with AM, Stones & Radiohead as they're all acts I want to see! But on the other hand, all very good acts in their own way so I suppose I cannot complain!

Not wanting to sound anything like Gazza/whatIam or whatever his new name is, but I had Arctics, Stones and Radiohead in our sweepstake between my mates, if this is true I'll have won....meaning plenty of Brothers will be coming my way! Fingers crossed.
