That seems the most likely - but bloody hell by not telling people that, on top of the previous clusterf**k, it almost seems like they're actively trying to detract from peoples experience?

Does also seem curious that the very front section seems to have some form of floor put down throughout, so goes beyond simply protecting the land from the cranes etc driving around and would be more in keeping with VIP than simply people who got there early.

Yeah agreed, on detracting from the experience.

I'm probably not gonna be there til 6.30ish Saturday so, if my theory is right, I'm not sure how my 'front standing' will pan out. We shall see.

To my knowledge, all of that is front standing (VIP automatically got FS, but it is not segregated from regular FS), but they have also broken the front standing into two sections. I also think the front standing is 17k

My guess is that those who won the raffle will be allowed in the very front. And those who get there early will be allowed in the second section.

You can see that the second section is accessed via Sheepfoot lane, so it's almost definitely (maybe) another part of front standing.

Can someone ascertain the principal vantage points from which receptacles of tepid urine are likely to be hurled?

Interesting that you specify tepid. What is your preferred temperature for hurled urine?

I 'think' the very front will be wristbanded to the first x amount to arrive... Hence there being queues for the front section already this morning!

Though I could be wrong, I don't 'know' anything, just basing this off experience, and some bits I've read on social media. 👍

I've just been told that's exactly what it is.

Very front for first arrivals, regardless of ticket. Second part - 'front standing' from the ballot they did.

If I was going on my own I'd be going for the front bit but I'm pissing in the wind with 20 odd of us - second bit it is.

I thought both sections would be for Front Standing ticket holders only, but the first to arrive of those front standing ticket holders would get the very front!!! I hadn't for one minute imagined general ticket holders could arrive early and bag a spot, due to the logistics of the 2 separate paddocks and 2 different sets of entrances. 😮

If that is indeed the case, and there is a chance for us common general ticket holders, can somebody please find out which gate we arrive early at? As there's now big fences and a 'no man's zone' separating the front standing paddock and general paddock. I might go for it tomorrow.

(Image to show the separation between general and front standing paddocks.)

They have done for Cardiff and Manchester; i guess Wembley codes will come out after the Manchester gigs - as long as you registered a couple of weeks ago

I'm really annoyed, as I got the email about registering for the late release tickets while I was at Glastonbury, therefore didn't see it until I got home, by which time the deadline to register had passed.

Guess it's just not meant to be!

No, but I know plenty going tonight so hoping for that information.

I think it has come from someone connected to the band but I don't wanna keep pressing for now.

We'll find out soon enough (I know that doesn't help people going today)

That picture of the queue further up, @Alvoram, did you take that? I guess wherever that is, is the place to be

I didn't take it, but I'm told it's one of the sheepfoot lane gates, which are labelled on the map pretty clearly as front standing ticket holders only, and "No general Admission Entry." Hence I asked the question. 🙂

Guess we'll know in a few minutes. 🙂

Cant imagine the front bit is open to general admission early arrivals - its a completely different entrance so wouldn't work logistically. One of our party cant arrive until after work on weds so unless we can nab a wristband for them will have to accept we’ll probably be in the middle bit

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
