Talk of people with GA tickets being able to get into the first arrivals pit is wrong. Only people with Front Standing can get into the first two sections.

That front front golden circle/pit bit and that middle section is definitely only for those who got successful in the ballot. Because, in theory if, that second section was just the ballot but everyone who succeeded in the ballot got there early for the front bit then the second bit would be empty, no? 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

Plus you can only enter the access to that bit via 2 of the gates that are for front only. If I was GA I wouldn't bother queuing at 630am for disappointment, unless someone who's been tonight says any different

There's no way the Golden Circle is for GA people, too. That would be a logistical nightmare, as you couldn't pre-determine how many front-standing vs. general admission ticket holders will get a wristband, so how would you know how many front-standing tickets to allocate? What if the golden circle was basically all GA ticket holders, and then you have too many front standing ticket holders for the middle portion, do you punt some back into GA and risk drunk Oasis fans kicking off?

A friend of mine came through South Gate earlier and told me. Although subsequently it does sound like the first few hundred who queued at North Gate GA this morning, did get bumped up into the front section. The must have allowed for that in the numbers.

Got 2 GA tickets for tomorrow night which I'm looking to swap for front. Realise the chances are slim to none but you never know - putting it out there

This is what I thought was the case from the beginning... I can't see any logical way to get folks from the GA entrances and areas to the Front Standing Only entrances and areas off sheepfoot lane... 

At least us poor GA ticket holders can revert to relaxing in Northern Quarter shady and air conditioned bars for the afternoon and arriving at our leisure. 🥵🥵🥵

Do you have any contingency plan to get from centre to the park?

 

Just mentioning it as it has been a bit of a fiasco today from sounds of it with the tram network struggling. people being advised to walk from city centre at one point.

 

Deffo worth looking at Uber and other options

So spent the day wristbanding.The first 9500 will get one coloured wristband that will get them in the matted area then the rest will be in the outer front standings. 
 

however doesn’t matter which one you get as it will be totally epic.

We booked the shuttle bus... But tbh I will just grab an uber if the queues are horrendous going out, it was mostly to ensure we have a way of getting back to the centre (won't mind queuing in the cooler evening.)

Very special gig. Can’t shed any light on front standing but if you’re going to any of the remaining shows I can assure you that you’ll have a great time wherever you’re stood. First time at Heaton park, great venue

Just got home from Heaton Park. The gig was everything I wanted it to be, but the crowd was FULL of insufferable f**king c**tS.

 

A lady behind me bought a tambourine for some f**king reason, so about 5 songs in, I asked her, very politely, with a please and everything, to stop. Her coked up c**t of a boyfriend and all their mates started threatening to beat me up, and spent the majority of the rest of the show trying to make mine and my family's life miserable.

 

We eventually moved, and when we moved it was just full of people being dickheads, starting on each other. Honestly I have never seen such a horrible crowd at a concert. It should have been a euphoric day but WOW was it full of pricks.

Are you surprised. Just like an oasis gig back in the day. Pissed up, coked up thugs whose perfect end to a gig would be a scrap. As big as a band they were they have the worse fans ever. I only saw them once previously and it was the nastiest atmosphere at a gig I’ve ever been to.

The very strangest part of last night is.....THE TICKETS WERE NOT SCANNED.

 

You could get in then forward it on to someone else to use.

Have 1 X GA, so simplest would be another GA, but of course very open to buying 2 X front standing instead.

I was a bit surprised because I thought they might have all grown up in the last 16 years!

Honestly just start walking. There's a McDonalds about halfway between the park and the city so it's a nice rest point

tickets should have been scanned and if they were attempted again it would flag up.
