Allowed might be a stretch. I think the travellers area was a bit more loose with rules. It may be my memory but I’m sure there was the odd dog about in 2000.

Not Glastonbury but tge new stage announced for Reading/Leeds looks impressive with the mesh screen over the crowd. I wonder if we could see anything similar at Glastonbury?

Reading and Leeds do that, Glastonbury puts a giant ball on a tower crane. Years ago that would have been the sort of innovation you'd see at Glasto first.

and Glastonbury will likely have something new to replace the spider / crane that Reading dont have ... cant win them all

Reading and Leeds being more innovative than Glastonbury has tickled me. Hope those fairy lights are designed to withstand the impact of several thousand airborne pints of piss.

Reading and leeds have corporate money and desperately need to sell tickets. glasto is held together with rubber bands and sells out in 5 seconds not exactly a surprise 😂

That's a bit unfair to be honest.  Aside from the fact this is new tech and R/L have done a press release now - they've not actually done it before, there's nothing to say that it's not on Glastonbury's radar and I don't see anything like IICON or The Levels at Reading/Leeds.
