The Sun reporting today that it's The 1975, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young.

Chappelle Roan (Pyramid), Charli XCX (Other), Olivia Rodrigo also on the bill.

The article's online.

Paying no attention as its the Scum but wow that's an all-timer.

There’s no way way Olivia Rodrigo isn’t headlining if she’s playing

The Scum hacks would surely know that though....which suggest even more that it's another bullsh*t headline grabbing piece based on little but speculation they've grabbed from elsewhere.  Completely normal for them then.

Currently after listening to all the options, I'm looking at Basement Jax, Neil Young and Olivia jus as a favourd 3 but missing The Prodigy on other again would be tough. It might even have to be half of each set finishing with Olivia.

You'd miss a Prodigy headline set in favour of the latest fad Disney pop star?

That would be a pretty impressive line up but ones i would also be happy to miss if there was a clash

I don’t see this being accurate because 1. O-Rod would headline if playing and (related) 2. It’d be all men in the headline and Legends slot which I just don’t see Emily doing when there are strong female artists available and also playing. It would be a massive move away from what she’s said she’s trying to achieve with gender equality in music.

Especially in a year that has had so many fab releases from women. This year should have been an easy year for many female headliners.

you mean Lolla. Acl is only 80,000 people. Lolla is 120,000. Ive been in that field when it was packed for Radiohead in 2008 at their essential peak for arguments sake. The Chappell crowd was larger.

At first I assumed the Radiohead peak crowd in the US was probably about 40,000 people to be fair

Forgot how much taste has changed over there. Although I must say I am surprised they are your comparison, surely so many headliners have got bigger crowds than Radiohead in the US?

He’s been headlining corona capital and he will headline Lollalpalooza in South America in the spring. He’s supposed to be touring Europe next summer so I’m throwing it in the mix as a headline possibility

I can’t see in a million years Mendes even coming close to Glasto, let alone headline.

You’d have thought so. Either way you’re right it’s total guesswork.

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.
    • White Stripes/QotSA at Harewood 2007, Tramlines (and Blue Dot, same weekend) in '23, and Elbow at Jodrell Bank '13.
    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
