People with pre 2020 seetickets registrations need to confirm their accounts

This presents me with a dilemma - I have been using the same photo since photos were first required, I now consider it my 'lucky photo'  - if I update it will my ticket streak end? Anxiety!

 

But in a more serious note, it looks like they are pruning the database, so if you don't confirm your account, you'll need to make a new one

 

But don't get caught out, do it today!

You don't actually have to update the photo so you can keep the same lucky one!

registration email says mine is valid when tickets go on sale so i'm assuming no action is required?

If you do not confirm that you wish to keep your pre-2020 registration details, then your registration(s) will be DELETED on Monday 02 October 2023 and you will be required to submit a new registration before you can try and book tickets for the 2024 Festival and future years.

 

Is this a hint that we're back to an October T Day or am I reading too much into things as per?

Its just a deadline. Because you dont know what they have to do after the deletion to make sure everything is fine. Could take a week, could take a month.

Yes, initially I thought you had to renew it if it’s over two years old but I read it now that it’s ok to keep it if it’s still a good likeness.

You still have to confirm (if ok) by clicking the green button….

You don't have to upload a new photo, you should receive a confirmation email you have been registered (At least, I did).

All unsuccessful ticket applicants are entitled to watch the BBC coverage at your house, in this instance you must contact both your insurance company and your local council... or something like that!

This is really unclear. I pressed the green button a few days ago. Now I got an email today saying I need to confirm. But the links don't have anything to confirm, it just lets me update my details again. Am I all done?

I think so....and to be honest there's not much more you can do now.  You're not alone though....this seems to be the process for everyone, myself included.

As usual another haphazard exercise by Seetickets.....I'm sure there'll be some folks who miss out on ticket day because of this in some manner. Perhaps it'll keep those who have advocated for a ticket 'lottery' happy at least.

That’s what I got. Sure it’s ok, the e mail asked you to view edit or delete the registration. After viewing it and ticking the three boxes you should receive an e mail confirming the updated registration. I assume that means everything is ok. Actually done it a few times just in case I’d fecked up!
