if you drill down into Friday and Saturday no rain is forecast but it’s in the area.

I don’t mind the odd thunderstorm, the one on the Thursday night when Jacko died was unreal. Stood in the stone circle watching it go round the site was a proper moment. Then the news came through, strange night.

Minimal rain around, but high of only 15.

Pressure

Erm, this is actually more problematic, with the low above with close isobars which suggest strong winds to the north. We do not want this.

 

SUMMARY

I've had a few beers, so this is ok if a bit chilly. But we don't want the strong winds!

This latest run isn't necessarily the best we've had but it's certainly not terrible. If I can get away with taking just walking boots, which is looking more likely, then I'm happy with that. Also loving that we're getting consistency for a good Wednesday - Friday!

Unless there's a massive, massive increase in the amount of water that falls compared to the forecast, it's definitely boot not welly terrain.

And a hat. The Sunday night in, I think, 2014 had me huddled in all my clothes trying to get warm enough to sleep. Miserable.

Wind doesn't look too bad. Calm all weekend up to Sunday, then looks to be around 20-25mph winds... Certainly not too worrying at this point.

I've a feeling the low's dirty ballbag might cut the country in half. Leave the North shivering and the South lovely and snuggly.
