I can't fathom a single circumstance where those bookings would be linked, or why.

What I more meant is that the sources have both said about both acts. So if the source is wrong, for what ever reaosn, then there's a chance its wrong about both.

That’s a band I think according to the BST insider on the forums

edit: quoted the wrong post

Yeah it’s a rock band @Matt42 would have no interest in apparently.

But Matt seemingly has an interest in everyone so I dunno how they’ve worked that one out!

This is feeling a lot like 2015 where we knew only one headliner going into February… and we were debating whether Florence and the Machine was big enough to headline.

If history is going to repeat itself the Kanye announcement came out of nowhere after the Brit awards and it transpired that Glasto didn’t have a third headliner as we approached the spring. Some shit house fuckery ensued where the Who moved their Paris date to play.

hmm an out of nowhere announcement after a televised live performance... Dr Dre (and friends) it is. Get the 2pac hologram ready!

“IIIIIIIIIIIIIN ONE! He’s a hip hop star and I’m sure he’ll go far… it’s Kendrick Lamar”

”IIIIIIIIIIIIN TWO! She’s headlined before and just watch her roar… it’s Florence and the Machine”

IIIIIIIIIIIIN THREE! with the front man from blur she does not concur... it's Taylor Swift

Someone on Reddit said their tour manager has been commentating emojis on Instagram (which definitely can not be misinterpreted...)

So.....

Billie/McCartney/The 1975

On standby if Macca or Kendrick don’t commit?

Daft comment if they aren’t in serious discussions

Expand

I just noticed that there seems to be some skepticism about if Kendrick can fulfill his slot and I didn't see that same pessimism for Billie. Billie will be amazing by the way, currently my favorite artist but she doesn't even have the performances that Kendrick has had on a festival stage to warrant ppl being more comfortable with her headlining than say a Kendrick.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
