Fuck yes, that would be ace. Could see Mr morale as an opener for sure. Pitch black then the screens flicker off and on as a figure (do we know who it is?) Is saying the 'it was one of the worst performances of I've ever seen in my life..." huge pyrotechnics then Kenny running out straight into the verse

Kendrick has always played with the idea he is a prophet. It's basically the narrative of damn. It's never without consciousness or fallibility. The cover seems to continue the themes of the pull between wickedness and weakness on the last album. Religion, family, ego and danger. It may be a continuation but its never gonna be a repeat, he is king of the album, all the songs link but somehow standalone. Guy is actually a genius
  6. Haha, no the gaffer tape coke box is more so I can get a nice mix and match going rather than a crate of all the same beers. Need it all in one box as taking the coach. Was just wondering what others did which is less precarious than reinforced cardboard.
  7. I'd be interested in tips on bringing cans to the festival. Have typically filled an empty box of 24 cans of coke and gaffer taped the hell out of it

Out of all the acts of the line up, I'm most keen to get a good spot for Kenny. Moving in to the crowd as the sub finishes should be enough to get me in the pit right? Seen a few predictions that he won't have a massive crowd which I don't get, but is better for a good spot
  9. Did they reply? I love this place!

Yeah it's so good isn't it?!

Yeah with the name of the album, the glimpses we've had from Vegas and the superbowl and now the production and characterisation on this track, there is no way that the pyramid show is gonna be nothing short of and audio and visual masterpiece. This isn't just gonna be a concert this is going to be a theatrical immersive experience.
  12. I believe that stage was confirmed with the theatre and circus announcement
  13. Apologies if this has been asked before but what time would you say oxylers is full by? Only three tents, but in 2019 we defo couldn't get in but I can't for the life of me remember what time we arrived. Hoping to be at castle cary at 8:45 this year
  14. Thanks for going through the list! Just a correction on the above, gecko is a singer songwriter who writes really great songs that are both thought provoking and funny. Couldn't recommend him enough
  15. Trying to work out what to do timing wise. Not sure i fancy the 5 hour stint but also want a decent spot. I'm assuming atmosphere wise it's gonna be good pretty much wherever, is there a point where the sound becomes worse or you just feel too far from the action?
  16. Yard act --> self esteem, (jp) metronomy --> St Vincent (other) Wet leg --> confidence man (park) Clashfinder predicting triple whammy indie clash is less than ideal
  17. I don't really get the beef with this. After the years of separation and division we've been having, 100,000 people singing in unison, arms around each other on the best place on earth is going to be spectacular! Might not be the best song but that moment will be magic
  18. Getting better is a welcome addition

Yeah 'i' came out months before TPAB different version on the album though. Pretty sure blacker the Berry was also out before as it was heavily misinterpreted without the context of the album
  20. He's great, saw him on the park on a glorious Sunday afternoon. I know first album is the biggest commercial success but wake up now is joyful. Will crack it on after work. Still hope for Anderson paak then 🙏
  21. The numbers are blowing my mind! I feel like ally pally is 10,000 right and that's the biggest standing venue in London but the 4th biggest stage is that size. I can't imagine 70,000 on the other, that sounds mad but when you're there you can mostly get to a decent spot. few questions.. been 5 years and wondering about a few places Funkingham Palace - 6000 Is this in the park?? The Yard (formally The Basketball Court): 362 Where is this, I've never heard of it. What's the vibe? The Rabbit Hole - 3,472 that's mad it's that much. Always assumed like 500.
  22. Yeah Glastonbury is so good in that respect. Went to wilderness last year and they had an arena, first couple of days they were fairly chill and you could easily stroll in with a couple of cans in your back pocket. But on the Saturday or Sunday, word had obviously got sent down that there weren't enough 7 pound pints of San Miguel being drunk in the arena and the security were in full police mode, patting you down on the way in and they had someone on a watch tower spying people hiding cans on the approach to the gate. It was really weird as they were getting a proper buzz from it, there was a pile of confiscations which must have been nearing 500 cans.
  23. Yeah would agree with that. I'm not a fan of Harry so don't look in that thread, I saw it was hot and assumed the chit chat was about his new single. I think it's fair for info to be shared across a variety of threads if it's relevant
