I'll do Fuzzy's job for him. I presume he's talking about this story. It really helps to provide a link at least to any story you want to bring up.

Another contract awarded to Tory friends and family.

This makes me feel really sick. In the head. Just angry all of the time.

Don't the voting public care? How are people not awake and so blind as to how corrupt (and just how ridiculously bad at this governing the country lark) this is and this lot are?

I think they buy into the, "but Labour would do the same thing and give it to their mates", rhetoric. Maybe, but at the very least they'd give the illusion of transparency by putting it out to tender.

"But it's the way of The World". If you don't believe we can do better than just be corrupt and greedy then I feel sorry for you and you could do with some lessons on UK socio-economic history.

Margaret Ferrier: Covid MP says virus 'makes you act out of character'

The MP who used public transport while knowing she was infected with coronavirus has called it a "blip"

Margaret Ferrier argued that the virus "makes you act out of character" in an interview with the Sun on Sunday.

She faced calls to quit after travelling from Glasgow to London with Covid-19 symptoms last month, then returning home after testing positive.

The SNP suspended Ms Ferrier and the Metropolitan Police is investigating the incident.

The MP, 60, told the paper that she "panicked" and insisted she followed the rules.

"A lot of people say Covid makes you do things out of character. You're not thinking straight," she said.

......

Ms Ferrier is also believed to have attended Mass at a church in Glasgow after showing Covid symptoms.

At the beginning of the month, she apologised and said she "deeply regretted" her actions.

Scotland's First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, described her actions as "reckless, dangerous and completely indefensible" and said she should resign as an MP.

But Ms Ferrier told the Sun on Sunday she wants to continue representing her constituents in Rutherglen and Hamilton West.

Responding to the criticism, Ms Ferrier said: "It may be a serious error of judgment. I'm not denying that. People may be saying, 'You should have known better, you're a public figure'.

"But at the end of the day it still hurts. You then think is all that hard work and dedication just wiped away?"

I'm sure she's refusing to quit out of duty to her constituents, not because of the £80,000+ per year pay packet

there might be a link to Michelle Mone, but there might not be. The address is a business service address, so there's probably an accountant or company services running out of there.

I've no doubt there's something dodgy about how that new company got that contract tho.
