Interesting if true. Also suggests that in this part of the world we are nowhere near "herd immunity" (London would be the closest in the UK and would need at least another couple of waves of similar size to wave 1 to get there, assuming longer lasting T-cell immunity prevails (from this study, half life of antibody-based immunity to SARS-CoV-2 looks to be about 3 months). Does bode reasonably well for a vaccine with 50% efficacy though, suggesting that on its own it would nudge us up towards an immune population that would stop exponential growth. Even just slightly better efficacy, coupled with some natural immunity would so us. The suggested IFR is around where most figured it would land (CFR of around 5% is most common and we've always figured we were missing about 90% of infections, so IFR should be 0.5% or less)....
