There is an agenda here, I think we can all agree that is the Tories are complete twats. 😂

Haha, yeah. Not hard to come to that conclusion haha. Though to be fair, the anti-Tory comments on here aren’t as sensationalist as on social media.

Even though this is mainly full of labour fans, most realise that they haven’t really got the country’s best interests at heart any more than the Torys, and that’s saying something.

Hello. Always a relief when christmas day is over with. I actually like this weird time between christmas and new year.

My sister took some risks over christmas having her elderly father in law over and also visiting other elderly relatives on xmas eve and then got herself in a right state when found out her son's friend has tested positive and her son had been with him a few days before. This is what happens, people break or bend the rules in small ways...and then people catch it.

Indeed that’s it ... my best friend had a few cases at work and the app pinged several more close contacts ... my friend had somehow turned his app off .... yesterday he went for lunch with 4 households .... the day before I said that it wasn’t a good idea .... fingers firmly crossed now .... 😞

So I had Covid, have pretty much been bed bound for the majority, received notification I’m now lifted from my self isolation.

Just before Christmas I went to a couple of shops to pick up bits and I’ve now received another notification that I need to self isolate for 10 days!!! That cannot be right surely?! I’ve been around anyone consistently for 15 mins!

Is that in the app? Or via text?

if it’s text it should have a date to end the self isolation. Chances are one of your contacts has now tested positive.

we had this when we all tested positive in the house, my wife ended up with 4 dates to isolate to.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
