Best coffee on site

Following today’s news that up to 25 cups of coffee is ok for our heart health, this got me thinking about the best coffee on site.

Whether it’s a wake up/ hangover cure cuppa first thing in the morning or a late night “to keep me going” mug. Where is it? Where is the best coffee on site?

2017 had a great coffee place on Williams Green. Towards the end of the field direction of West Holts, if I remember correctly. Swung by prior to my shifts every morning I had to work.

Agreed! This place is the best and a total lifesaver!

In The Glasto Hacks thread @The Nal and @pie_and_a_pint pointed me in the direction of Proper Coffee between West Holts and Williams Green

Directions from The Nal - "On the corner as you're walking into the Circus field. Sort of beside the paella place. Its really good. From 1 min 35 here"

This is really lame but does anyone know anywhere that does decent decaf?

Yes I vouch for this place as well - can’t remember the name but Proper Coffee rings a bell

The best coffee on site will be at my tent.  It will be Morrison’s best espresso ground Colombian, made in an aero press using water heated to 92c on a propane flame and served in a cup with a carabiner handle.

It will be the best because it can be consumed without having to walk before the caffeine kicks in.

Mr Stacks likes the coffee from a small place diagonally opposite Leftfield in the same run as The Guardian. This may only be because he once chatted to Billy Bragg there though.

I too am interested in where does a good decaf as the good lady her indoors can't drink caffeine anymore.

In the past, when we've camped in the south park area, we've regularly walked to the park and got coffee from a place near the bimble inn.

I recccomend lost horizons sauna for a great cup. They had some proper South American stuff last time was quality

There's a place on the right side of the pyramid somewhere on the walk to Other stage that was my go to! Great latte and the brownie was amazing!

Tastes just as good! Which is why I drink it, not for the buzz (which manifests itself as anxiety and tetchiness for me  )

There used to be a coffee and Bagels stall actually inside the cabaret tent which was a lifesaver one day. Not sure if it will still be there though!

Anyone got a good coffee recommendation near to/within walking distance of the Other Stage? We camp in Oxylers and coffee is a must for me, don't recall have any coffee that I was over the moon with

The coffee truck up at Worthy View has been really good the last two years!

Can vouch for the place between Williams Green and West Holts.

Welcome properly made coffees during the weekend - need a flat white daily!

Awesome, as someone doing WV first time this year I'm very much looking forward to what amenities it has to offer. I'll be hitting up the coffee truck for sure.

They do great smoothies too (although be prepared to queue at peak coffee/tea times!)

There is a big tent in the Greenfields on the right as you walk up towards the Stone Circle - they do amazing Chai (which is delicious with a dash of rum thrown in) but also really decent no nonsense filter coffee - can't remember the cost but it's cheap compared to other places.

A couple of years ago there was a Monmouth Coffee stall up past Manic Organic and turn left. bn68 jnr was pleased as he said it was his favourite coffee. Don't know if it's still there.

Another vote for Proper Coffee. There's almost always a queue but it's worth the wait. They also run a cafe in Wookey, I think.
