    I think its a dreadful idea. Simply enables some mega rich person to sail in and boast about it afterwards. Just adding to the middle class momentum at the festival. A raffle could raise as much and be more democratic.

    Reading this is giving me acid stomach. I missed out this year so am desperate to go in 23. Will get all the family helping again and hope for the best.

    Always managed to slide mine off. Planning to frame them when I can get round to it. Someone posted a nice picture of their framed wristbands on another thread a while back and it gave me the idea.

    Had a selfie with Michael a few years back. Also saw Thom Yorke leaving the acoustic field in early 2000s but didn't like to bother him.

    Camping about 10 miles from the festival but sadly no ticket this year. Have a great time one and all.

    Can folks stop saying that there will be lots of tickets in the resale. Its giving me hope and you know what they say about that. 😉🤞

    I think I read somewhere that the campervan resale will be later in the day after the main resale. I am holding my breath for both but with no real expectation of success.

    The average age has increased significantly over the last 20 years. When I first went in 97 I had several conversations about being an older punter. I was in my 40s! Now I dont feel out of place in my 60s.

    First went in 97 and was totally hooked. Been to about 15 since then ie whenever I could get tickets. Been with son, daughter, various friends and solo. Always loved it. I'm getting old now and the stress of Tday etc is tiring. Keep promising myself that I will do one more then stick to smaller festivals. But once addicted.....
