  1. Still testing positive. Sore throat is finally gone, only remaining symptoms are a very runny nose and cold sweats. It's been a week already, I thought Omicron was shorter/faster 😒
  2. This is exactly what I was thinking about earlier today, that I should've considered the possibility of catching Covid when I planned a move from Argentina to Spain, attending a massive festival and then flying to the Netherlands, all within a 3 week period, one week each event which means I got over jetlag during Glasto and now instead of unpacking and assembling furniture in Valencia I'm recovering from Covid hoping I'll test negative before my flight to Amsterdam on Thursday. Should we all now buffer at least a 7 day gap between events just in case? Forget about spontaneous plans with others? Or maybe just go back to wearing a mask everywhere? 🤔
  3. Came home with mild symptoms that I had hoped were just a cold considering my sleeping bag was rubbish and I was cold most nights. Tested negative on Wednesday. I've had a VERY sore throat and cold sweats for a couple of days, no fever. And now, at 3am I can't sleep because of the pain in my throat so I re-tested and yeah, very positive.
  4. I ordered this and they gave me wings instead (I wasn't paying attention and realised only after a first bite). The sauce is indeed delicious. I'm definitely going back.

    Lost and found

I found these glasses on the ground near BBC Introducing. Will leave them at the lockup near Spring Ground/Michael's Mead
  6. Avoid Noodle City left of Pyramid. Bland, overcooked rice... very bad, a waste of money and ingredients.
  7. Bought a new sleeping bag to replace my super bulky old one. Added a self inflating pad. It's definitely going to make a difference, downsizing from a 65 to a 35 L backpack. Old vs. New:
  8. I have MS and after having had hyperacusis certain noises can really affect me. I'm feeling increasingly anxious and apprehensive about Glasto, not only about Covid but also about testing how sensitive to sound I will be now. I'm taking a box of this wax earplugs that saved my sanity and I totally recommend them to anyone who may need to "tone it all down a bit". They would work even to see gigs or walk through the farm since one can mould them to block all sound or not and it's a tiny box, easier to carry everywhere. This is my third (or fourth? I don't remember) Glasto and the first one I'm not really excited about, these days are more about what I'll be able to cope with, plan and anticipate problems/solutions, spend a fortune on buying smaller and lighter camping equipment I could carry myself and questioning whether this is a good idea. Anyway ... back to checking the weather thread.
  9. Does anyone know what would be the nearest breakfast serving place to Spring Ground? I can't carry much stuff with me so bringing supplies and making my own wouldn't work. Thank you!
