A very solid realistic lineup tbf. Chems will probs never do R&L but they’re one of my all time faves so I’ll allow it on this haha. Would be buzzing with this for the most part

Be buzzing if it looked anything like that, can see Haim being there though

Chill out lads I wasn’t being a big sexist just wasn’t bringing a big debate about it into a forum about which singer person sing song

Hahaha. Brave.

About 7 years ago I said "I'm not a fan of Paramore. I hope they don't headline"

That was met with cries of misogyny.

Looks alright that, or at least probably a high watermark for what the lineup could look like next year with the new two main stage design. Don’t think Chemical Brothers will do it though and would probably stick Billie in there instead - two female headliners out of six would go some way to lessening the usual ladfest flack R/L usually gets.

I don’t think it will be as strong as this. I think they could perhaps get away with Lewis Capaldi and Courteeners being “headliners” if there are six. I’m not sold on  Dave either.

They might be able to rope in some US rapper like DaBaby or something but I think Dave is probably not doing anything in 2021.

Praying that Melvins statement of new headliners means co doesn’t count, give me a Foals headline set pleaseeeee

I think co’s are out personally, they’ve still technically ‘headlined’ albeit not fully. But if you’re speaking about previous headliners, I think Foals would be mentioned meaning they’re considered a headliner.

Although it’s definitely up for debate

Really Really hoping Melvin pulls something out the bag for this line up and pulls an absolute blinder!

MS1 =

Bring Me The Horizon

Gorillaz

Skepta

MS2 =

Kanye West

Vampire Weekend

Liam Gallagher

Some big names but I do think Melvin means business

That's about 100 times too high, if not 1000.

Daft Punk are not going to announce RandL on Monday out of the blue. A festival that holds no significance to them. 🤣

i meant chems not daft punk

The day splits on this are weird and clashes. Not enough rap at all and two big pop acts too. Courteeners and TDCC clash? The acts are strong though

Vampire Weekend headlining Reading Festival not a chance - would love it though into Gorillaz

    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
