My main thought on that is there's surely no way Beabadoobee would still be so low on FR?

That's your MAIN thought?

Not;

1. Two main stages

2. 6 headliners

3. The logistics

4. The reception

Her only headline gigs have been in very small clubs or venues, King Tut's, Leeds Key Club. Slot seems about right, Festival Republic doesn't have a big audience pull compared to other tents.

Fgs, have you been reading the thread. It has been established the two stages and six headliners as Melvin Benn said so to the NME.

That's fair enough actually, I'm surprised she isn't doing bigger venues yet tbh (though that one with King Tut's was a Dirty Hit tour so she hasn't had her own headline tour for quite a while).

And also there's Sports Team headlining FR with a Brixton Academy show coming up, which is quite a bit bigger than the FR headliners from 2019.

Hoping it's a similar style to Mad Cool with some, if not all headliners playing at different times to avoid clashes.

Will be weird having two outdoor main's and no NME tent though!

Weird tour that one with Brixton being a big show! Leeds & Bristol are 1000 cap venues. Then again I remember seeing Frank Turner Solo headline the FR tent!

I never get cracker jokes tbf. Thanks for explaining, I am laughing my head off Hawky.

Wasn't really a joke.

I didn't realise they were responding to the poster, just thought they were replying to all the news and their biggest thought was about beadadoobee being one of the acts to be bumped up.

Just love Peep show and throw that about.

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
