Just worked out that IDLES have shifted nearly 50,000 tickets today. Let’s assume that the two extra dates they’ve added go today, that’ll be over 50,000 tickets in one day. They’re big enough to sub headline, right?

Travis is insanely big, not a fan myself but he is huge. I guess Liam would probably sell more tickets but his tickets are significantly cheaper at like £50 each and tons of older people are buying them, if travis priced his the same then he would sell similar and fits the audience better. Both are really good bookings for the festival though thats for sure

Oh yeah crucial error there on my part, was just trying to think of potential larger indie headliners - it seems like most options have been exhausted already.

I can only hope co-headliners don't count so we can get Foals/Strokes back. Reckon catfish must be in with a shout if they don't do other shows, they haven't played Reading for absolutely ages too

Out there prediction I know they've not even hinted at touring but 30 Seconds to Mars would definitely be big enough to headline

throwing asap rocky into the mix too, was meant to be at sziget this year which often shares acts with R&L. feel like if they wanted him though he would have played a sub spot by now

IDLES, KSI, Sports Team, Beabadoobee, Fontaines D.C. and Young T & Bugsey all strike me as acts who will move further up the lineup if they’ve been rebooked.
