If Benn's big words of carrying over this years line up being "out of date" hold any water then bumping up Courteeners from sub to headliner would be pretty funny. Unless they've blown up in lock down and I haven't noticed.

Courteeners/Dave with Lewis Capaldi/Sam fender subs

LG/Dua with Gerry cinnamon/Rex Orange County subs

travis Scott or ASAP/BMTH with TDCC/IDLES subs

maybe then fontains, aj Tracey, dmas, glass animals and enter shikari somewhere else

I'm a big courteeners fan. Seen them more times than I can count. BUT.

Melvin said he's wiped the slate clean and started again. Some lower bands will return because they've 'blown up' and deserve to be heard.

Courteeners haven't 'blown up' so don't warrant the bump up to headline, if we're using Melvin's words.

Hopefully this is correct and they just sub again.

Co-Headlines each night instead of two main stages?

Biffy Clyro//Bring Me The Horizon

Liam Gallagher//Gerry Cinnamon

Muse//Courteeners

No two mainstages have been confirmed also there are no pop/rap headliners there so I doubt that would be the case

This look feasible apart from Teeners, Tame Impala in I hope

Here's a question, are the tickets gunna go on sale at the announcement?

Here's another, as we're having two mainstages and 6 headliners, do you think tickets will sell faster as a result?

I believe so and yes I think they will

Hmm, I’m hoping they don’t sell out as I definitely won’t be buying straight away. I’ve got an engagement ring I’m saving for for Mrs Metallimuse, more likely be a few months before I buy tickets.

Worried now.

Sorry but who is that?

A guy who became famous on YouTube for making vlogs of him and his mates at Leeds and is now seen as the face of goers to the festival.

Seems like a nice lad to be fair though and is actually ITK. Has interviewed Melvin on his channel in the past.

From a festival and kinda vlogging channel called TPD TV. He may or may not know. Hasn't before but could of been told. They normally do Piccadilly in Leeds DJing, well have for the past two years. They are doing one tonight virtually on YouTube so could listen to who they play and make a light judgement.

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
