I was there for that as well, was sweltering! And this is looking like being even hotter. I don’t know if I should be excited or slightly scared! sedra
Ok everyone please calm down. Forecast is unreliable until 2 or 3 days out so stop stressing. It’s changed about 4 times today from apocalyptic thunderstorms to heatwave. If it’s 2010 hot then I am going to cry ?. I have to have factor 50 and wear a hat at the best of times and hot mud is not pleasant either!! Am hoping the weather will settle down nicely by Monday. On another note over 200 pages is going well ?

Reckoner
For all the talk about the storms, it's only about 40% Sunday night, with Tuesday being about 30% Sunday is a quite narrow band that Pilton only gets the tail of. Assuming the forcefield will take care of this. Tuesday is a very small isloated event that could (will) easily miss the farm No stress. Anarion
Best start to the day ever! No wonder Glastonbury is the best festival in the world. The entertainment and excitement I get from this thread more than makes up for the ticket cost, everything else is a bonus.

stopwn1981
Rainfall forecasts should probably be largely ignored now. Both Gav and unanimously on netweather saying that storms with torrential downpours order of the day throughout the week. Might get lucky, might not. Very hard to pin down. Could turn up anywhere or nowhere. As always it’s on a knife edge. ?
Homer
One minute people are panicking over too much rain, the next, too much sun. Could the truth lie... somewhere in between? ?
jonnyisRFC
All weather sites seem to be in agreement now that Wednesday is going to be low 30s. I will genuinely struggle like fuck with that temp.

Still, would much prefer baking hot than loads of rain! I heard if the Thursday that year was as hot as Wednesday, then they were potentially going to pull the plug on it. So many had heat exhaustion due to poor preparation for the heat. Let's hope everyone is sensible and wears appropriate clothing and brings plenty of water and sun cream this year! It's what I heard through a friend of a friend who works for an events company which do the health and safety for glasto. It did sound unbelievable yes I agree, but it's a pretty good source. Certainly at this point I wouldn't want to be seen as scaremongering, it's going to be ok and the weather will be lovely!

Absolutely no chance they would pull the plug cause it’s too hot ?? I heard they contemplated building a igloo over the whole of the site to keep everyone cool and counteract the heat exhaustion, not sure if that’s true though ? These rumours that fly around, one person says it then it spreads. I don't think they've ever cancelled Burning Man because it got too hot. Or Benicassim festival.
