Hey, I've been stalking this thread for over seven hours now so I'm perfectly allowed not to notice the detail!

Take a breath, defocus your eyes by looking into the distance (not at the sky/weather) think of happy things. Then hit F5 in case you missed something.

To be honest, if the 'feels like' temperature is correct, then any showers that we have will evaporate terry darn quickly.

Also they will be s blessed relief for us from that heat!!!!

Also...the chance of precipitation is still actually only 21%...

Thanks for the tips but I probably just need to get a life.

Where we are now IMO.

Reasons to be negative:

- GFS and BBC beginning to agree on a hot start to next week creating potential for BIG rain round start of festival (Tues / Weds)

- General agreement on some rain over actual festival weekend across nearly all models, which lets be honest no one wants

- Ground, while not soaked, clearly is muddier at this stage than we'd like, and potentially more rain to come start of next week, which increases chance of ground churn if we get a hit during festival

Reasons to be positive:

- Met Office still refusing to go with the 'plume' reaching to the West of the country and not forecasting any rain of significance through to Tuesday

- Low rainfall totals over weekend itself (Thurs / Fri / Sat / Sun) across current models

- People forget there was a thunderstorm warning in 2017 on the Weds / Thurs, and they all missed the site, as did several pretty hairy showers

- Thunderstorm are forecast several days away, and fest is a week, so time for stuff to change

Could somebody sumarise the last 10 pages or so. Are we screwed or not?

The worry is: possible heavy rain the Tuesday evening, followed by roasting weather on Wednesday with possible thunder storms and heavy rain, so humid too- basically the worst possible weather for gates opening (though some say the thunder storms and heavy rain may be later in the day. But thunder storms unpredictable, so maybe they don't happen (remember last week they said they'd be heavy rain this week which never really happened.

Also there was the threat of thunderstorms in 2010 (ended up being dry, hot  and sunny every day). Also 2003 on the Sunday, but although there were ominous clouds, never came to pass.

It was much less stressful and confusing when you used to do your weekly blog thing!

How bad do we think traffic will be then? There's a lot of comparisons between now and 2016 which obviously ended up with a lot of queuing as they struggled to get vehicles onsite, are we anticipating anything similar? Wasn't so bad on the coach but driving down this year would be effort.
