Yeah I'm not denying that Stereophonics may have been massive when they headlined. Just saying that doesn't make a band good.

Him n his pal @The Placid Casual love everything Welsh.

Probably cos Stereophonics, Manics, Feeder, and Super Furries are all class.

Shame about Catfish letting the side down, although they don't really seem to acknowledge that they're Welsh so England can have them.

Word Gets Around is a great debut, still a favourite of mine but went off them following P&C and have loathed them since. Even turned down a free ticket for this weekend.

Didn't just mean music but even then that list is very inconsistent.

Been 4 days since a Welshman scored one of the best goals of all time to stop Liverpool winning the Champions League, not sure what more you can ask of us.

(Just to be clear: love Wales really but Stereophonics are bollocks)

Oh yeah I wasn't taking any of this seriously haha. Well at least I wasn't until you said that about Kelly and the lads.

I'm guessing that MBV gig announcement in Bristol was premature as I cant see the tweet any more? Hopefully it means there will be a string of dates announced soon.

Yeah I messaged motion and they told me that the promoter had postponed the gig. Fingers crossed it gets rescheduled, MBV in marble factory would be insane.

Anyways.... Kelly and the lads were quite good.

Just realised I've got nothing lined up until October. Need to get my finger out.

I've got The National, Arctic Monkeys, Conchords, NGHFB, Suede (and The Horrors) and First Aid Kit on the slate for the next few months.

And yes, I do like gammon.

Is all that stuff gammon now? I woulda thought gammon music choices would be those old lads whose tickets start at £100 and the dining experiences sell out in seconds.

I think Noel probably falls into that category these days.

Yeah, no question. All seated gig at Blenheim Palace... and the more expensive seats are the first to go! The Gallaghers will tear down the class divide with the reunion tour.

Looked a decent enough setlist, pretty much all the hits but still baffled why they continue to play anything off Graffiti on the Train bar Indian Summer.

    • Stadium gig/s 100% 2027.   As for the offer - dunno what to think. The source is very well placed and, to me, the timing checks out - I'm basing that on the stadium gigs coming after an arena tour... coming after a new record... following a record that propelled them to the next level.   As I keep saying with any info I've shared for Glastonbury next year, though, none of it feels nailed to me.    I assume that they're doing a half decent job of keeping things quiet (still early, I guess). It's all little bits of stuff doing the rounds in the industry. There's none of it that I'd hang my hat on right now. The bits I've shared - I thought they were worth sharing, given the source. Chat about Madonna, the Fontaines snippet, chat about Fender.    A gun to my head right now - Madonna would still be my number one bet. More of a gut feeling, but I feel like the recent doubt may be the festival and/or her people trying to calm the noise a bit after the Graham Norton slip, rather than a u-turn.
    • Have settlers people started receiving their car park passes? I was sure I had bought one, but cant find a receipt for it and nothing through the post yet.
    • @northernangel Are Wolf Alice not in the conversation? They just did a sold out Finsbury Park to 45,000 people, if they're ever gonna get the push it's now.
