Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

The 1975 are playing a free open-air concert with The Script on Glacis in Luxembourg City on Friday 23rd June. That might put a dent in some hopes of them turning up at Glastonbury unannounced, although they could still make the Sunday - they did have a big GSH from the 18th to the 26th.

40% off at Ticketmaster for all the On the Mount at Wasing, unsurprising at it’s in the middle of nowhere.  Now £45 for Sigur Ros and Primal Scream days, less for Ben Howard and Gabriels.

I’m getting higher prices than those - is there a special link or code?

And in one of the weirdest announcements of recent times, The Coral are supporting Rick Astley in Exeter the Sunday before. Hope it's a Glastonbury warm-up, very underrated (and super tight) band. Can't remember the last time they were on the farm.

They played the John Peel Stage in 2011 I think. Definitely time for a return!

McFly's announced a tour for the autumn, seem to be playing a few smaller venues which has miffed a lot of twitter users haha

Yeah - odd that they're doing two nights at smaller venues rather than one night at a bigger venue.

There'll be a sizeable portion doing both nights.

Think they're a little gunshy in terms of venue size. Wolves Civic is academy sized and still hasn't sold out the floor despite being on sale for a while.

They've been touring consistently for a while now and not really having chart hits anymore - goes to figure really I think. Reckon they could do arenas if they had a bit of time off and did a 20th anniversary of Room on the 3rd Floor or something like ala Busted.

Loving the debut tune from these too. Also liked my tweet asking about Glastonbury too, Williams Green contender imo. (tho just saw they've tweeted Emily so definitely not currently booked lol)
