Slightly weird selection of places.

Wonder if they're going to slot in something like BST or a London arena show in there after Milton Keynes sells out? It's really obviously missing a north west date too.

Huddersfield is halfway between Manchester and Leeds.

Last tour featured 2 London O2 dates announced after the Olympic Stadium show, so not necessarily impossible.

Well given I live near MK and like both Muse and Royal Blood, this feels like something to go for. I'm somewhat surprised that the Bowl is the venue listed, given it hasn't been used since 2016 and I thought was out of the live music game. But there you go.

Slipknot were gonna be using it in 2020 for Knotfest. 4 year break is a lot, still.

Indeed they were - a friend was so enthusiastic for that and was pretty gutted it wasn't rescheduled. But yeah, a 7 year hiatus is quite a lot, not least as I thought the 4 gigs held at the MK Dons stadium down the road meant that was taking over as the main big gig venue in the city.

At one point they were talking up the idea of turning it into a sort of entertainment centre with a water park, but that got dropped after it got planning permission.

Oddly, the GigsandTours page says the show is at stadium mk, even though everyone else is saying Bowl.

I guess technically I can say I've seen Muse at the Bowl before tbf. Back in 2010, they did a week of rehearsing there before going on a stadium tour and it was cool to sit in a nearby park and listen in.

perfect , will get mine tomorrow . MK too

likely hood of not being able to get tickets at 9am?

Was surprisingly smooth. Queue moved quick and all sorted in under 5 mins. Although perhaps everyone was trying for Coldplay tickets at the time!

Paul & Jacqui U.K. tour all tickets £30 and support from Billy Bragg

Paul Heaton is such a good man. He really, really lives his values. In days of dynamic pricing crap etc it's so nice to see someone like him.

If an arena tour is viable with tickets £30 it puts a lot of stuff into perspective with acts charging £60-£70 and blaming it on increased costs. I know they'll not have the full production of other arena shows but it'll have most of the other costs.

    • You can judge who you want to get a high slot next with the Lolla headliner performances from the weekend. Cause people think Tate Mcrae is the best thing out there for some reason. And some other cool acts, plus you can laugh at how bad the camera work is cause disney is cheap.
    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
