One thing I found odd about booking Biffy Clyro tickets earlier was that the London O2 date was £12 per ticket more than the Birmingham RWA show. Which caught me a little by surprise. I know London shows are generally pricier and that tickets are more expensive following a VAT increase than if this show had been announced last year, but that kind of price gap is nuts.

Electric Ballroom is a bigger venue than what I was expecting but I still reckon they have got a good chance of selling it out. The friends and special guests bit makes me reckon there's a good chance of a decent undercard, some of their frequent collaborators like The Skints, Kid Kapichi and Strange Bones all together would be a fucking stellar evening.

Normally I'm not fussed about US festival line ups but this is incredible.

Was really hoping we might have lucked out with a handful of UK shows for Paul McCartney being announced last week. Think the chance to see him may be gone now, alas.

I think he'll either do Europe in arenas this winter or stadiums next summer.

Can't see him retiring or announcing a final tour.

    • Just watched Annie Lennox at Wilderness Festival as part of her global feminist The Circle initiative. She curated the 2 hour slot with special guests including Jessie Ware and then did  a 1/2 hour slot singing her and Eurythmics hits at the end. Her voice is amazing still and I am convinced she would do an amazing set on Sunday afternoon. She even wore a jacket with a sparkling CND symbol on the back! It’s a sign!!
    • 1. Jack White - Frozen Charlotte 2. Buffalo Traffic Jam - Pictures Of You 3. The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues
    • Is it one of those bollocks things where ones is a festival and the other would be a show lol
    • Hello,   I have no idea what the answer is to your question, but wish you well in your quest for information.
    • Yes, I was asking about comedy, and also it seems odd that after bringing it back last year, the Seaside Stage seems to have gone again. Probably why Massaoke (basically a big karaoke sing-along) is now on the Castle Stage. But on all three days?! Does all seem a little desperate this year, though hopefully I will be proved wrong. Still think the Mary Wallopers fiasco has probably put a lot of artists off performing at Victorious, hence the reduction in stages and acts appearing... One of the best things about Victorious in the early days was its value for money compared to some of the other bigger festivals, but this certainly not the case anymore...
