Could LCD be our missing Other headliner? (if Dua is out) They've only had 1 album since doing it and haven't really grown much since so I doubt it, I could 100% see a DJ set or two though.

They’re an exclusive in Bilbao by all accounts so a billed set somewhere seems unlikely.

Wasn't aware of that so strike it from the record.

Still ridiculously excited by the prospect of London, I got most of my family into them because of their Glastonbury 2016 performance going up on Iplayer in 2021, we never agree on music but they just 'got' it. So hoping to take them along.

Al Doyle also said he’s not playing Glastonbury this year. Doesn’t rule out some Despacito thing but that’s not LCD I s’pose.

Not playing or not going to be there? He normal helps out at the Crow's Nest and DJs up there.

Dont think they doyler would lie. Theyre exclusive to BBK in europe festival wise and the london dates will likely be it for the UK except maybe a night at the barrowlands

if the last london date is 03/07 they are in bilbao on 07/07 and will need a night off after 3 consecutive nights so that just leaves 05/07 available and maybe 06/07 at a push. I expect london only UK dates. As others have said its mainly a payday and nostalgia trip but i have no problem with that.

He’s said the reason he’s not at Glasto is they’re playing elsewhere that weekend. Could be like Paris or Berlin or something but I suspect it’s another UK city before the London dates.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
