Don't think I've mentioned the 20th anniversary of The Miseducation tour here yet .

Ms Lauryn Hill, I have two tickets for Amsterdam December 6th, it is anyone's guess if she'll actually turn up for that.

The numbers indicate that almost one in every hundred people on the planet watched this. I doubt that is true, but 50 million views is very impressive nonetheless. There are few tunes superior to this.

Buy tickets and go and see her this Autumn if you get the chance!

Arena tour for Fatboy Slim. Not sure whether to bother with this, or if he just plays EDM shite nowardays. Thoughts?

Don't pay to see him, just walk about Glastonbury with your eyes open. Much like rats in London, you're never more ten feet away from a secret Fatboy Slim set.

Steely Dan w/ Steve Winwood tour

Sat Feb 23 – Genting Arena, Birmingham
Mon 25 Feb – The SSE Arena, Wembley

Looks like this and Ozzy will be my first gigs of next year, hopefully. Any news on New Order yet?

It's an odd environment to see this. Imagine being sat up in the gods, at the back of Wembley Arena, watching Fatboy who's about 100m away?

Yeah agreed, but Cardiff Arena is tiny with no real seating bar a tiny balcony, and he's playing in the round. Plus it's the day of the Wales vs England match so would be a decent after party.

Conclusion is:  Tout it on the day.

At last. Steely Dan on top of my ‘still to see’ list and I keep missing their rare appearances over here. Steve Winwood will be another ticked off too.

I was interested, but 50 notes is out of my price range.

50 notes is cheap I reckon mate, especially for London.

Chic are charging £84 in Manchester.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
