I love the Lexington, had my 30th there.

Really? Didn’t know you could book it like that. Good choice, it’s a smashing venue and seems to attract some great acts. I’m off to see the Burning Hell there too this summer.

Just bought a ticket to see Bedouine at the Lexington in July. Excited about it.

Supporting Father John Misty on his October tour and have discovered her through that. Really liking what I'm hearing so even more stoked for this gig now.

Anyone get Father John Misty tickets? Shame it’s all seated but should be good still

Where’s it all seated? Got tickets for Liverpool but that’s standing as well as seated.

Slayer UK tour announced. Supports are Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Obituary. How are modern Slayer anyway? Have they still got it live or are they hasbeens?

I’m guessing this’ll be on the pricey-ish side with those support acts, but what a lineup! Definitely tempted by this.

tickets for Dublin are €50-€60, so i'd imagine around the £40 mark for UK, which is pretty decent for that lineup.

Warming up for their triumphant Park headline set next year.

So I was wondering about something. Van Morrisson and Elvis Costello are doing quite a few UK shows this year. They're often seen as music legends but... how are they these days? Worth seeing? I saw that Van Morrison doesn't play that many songs from Astral Weeks which I find odd because isn't that widely considered to be one of his best albums?

Who's at Ezra Furman next week then? Yer man's been doing big long sets (27 songs at his last London date!) including basically all of Transangelic Exodus and plenty of big hitters off the last couple. Will have fingers crossed for some rare oldies like Mysterious Power or The Queen of Hearts but feel like I'm not likely to be complaining either way.

I hope you don't mean the Brixton date as that was rescheduled to September wasn't it?

    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
