I think they've had a poor live reputation since the get go. I saw them in Glasgow in 2014 though and enjoyed it, so maybe I'm easily pleased haha.

Glasvegas definitely felt like the breaking point where even people who were fully mad for the 2000's indie scene were like "yeah let's pack it in". Can't believe it's been ten years since they forced their way into our lives.

Glasvegas absolutely smashed it at Hit the North the other week, that first album was sounding as amazing as when I loved it years ago.

The Dresden Dolls have announced their first UK gigs in 12 years (it's only London, sorry everywhere else). Two dates at the Troxy, 30th and 31st October, tickets are £35 plus fees. Teenage me is excited!

Loved glasvegas first album ,saw em a few times think they were quite high up the bill on other stage at Glastonbury one year , possibly same year as prodigy .

Seemed to have promise but just disappeared up they're own backsides in the end

I absolutely loved the first two Glasvegas albums, the second one in particular had some right tunes on it.

Lightning Seeds tickets are £2.50 for their gig at Aintree Racecourse, I know their name but nothing beyond that so sorry if they're shit haha. Just thought I'd post it in here in case anyone is interested at that price.

That'd be like when I chose my accommodation for university, and I wanted to be in the cool, grittier, architecturally significant blocks where everyone knew everyone, and instead they put me in the shiny, expensive, en suite building that seemed to be deliberately laid out to stop anyone befriending anyone else.

Though it also contains a well regarded Caribbean restaurant in the form of Camila Cabello*.  Better than being homeless, which is where you currently find yourself.
