so 50% is more than 50%? :D come on! lets not get into maths my head hurts today as it is :D

No you're right, shouldn't have started it. And 'at least half' does allow it to be half, which is not most. Hate myself more now ;)

It's not going to be a new big stage unfortunately not with the number of people now on site , taking photos . Webcams , dee doing her daily runs and sawdusty on site , I think some ground works would have needed to be done by now and with no visible signs of anything being built we can put pay to that idea unfortunately ... unless they are planning to get challenge anneka in and do it all last minute !!

I've not had the chance to trawl through all pages but has anyone considered Take That? Shaun Keaveny mentioned a potential reunion for all five original members on R6M this morning and suggestively added "ooooh, I wonder where that would happen?" as if he knew something. Probably nothing but I could definitely see them fitting in that Sunday teatime slot

I think that's very unlikely.

I've heard from more than one direction that Barlow has no interest in doing it, and he showed the same no interest on TV i n the last 6 months or so.

I can back that up for certain from someone who works closely with Barlow. The only way they'll be there is as punters.

Well that's a relief. I was hoping I was wrong but it felt like it might fit, especially given the Robbie Williams rumours that were touted a while back.

I'm fully expecting to go "oh, is that it?" when it gets announced but it's fun to speculate the days away

The Killers or Kings of Leon? Haven't seen them mentioned, but could fall in the bracket of previous headliners who wouldn't necessarily get booked in that capacity again, but might want to play the festival anyway so could potentially accept a lower slot. Both are 'exclusive' at BST, which might be why they've had to keep it under wraps? Also neither were really rumoured outside of the usual bookies and clickbait articles which also included the likes of Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys etc who were never going to headline.

If any of those band are announced

Hadn't even thought of them! Heard a documentary about the 25th anniversary of Out of Time and they were coy about reforming in the future...would definitely like this....

Well they did the one off (sans Michael) earlier this year when they performed Superman, and Michael has spoken about getting back into music.  I mean it's a massively long shot, but fuck me I'd be happy with that.

    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
