Jackone on netweather will do a forecast starting about a month before and regularly updates it

He hasn't been allowed internet access in the nut house since he brutally butchered his entire family and then made a lamp shade from his dead mothers skin.

Hes utterly insane.

Seeing The Nal commenting on the weather thread fills me with dread of rain, mud and doom.

Lets hope for better weather in the build up this year! That's what we should be looking for primarily.

Once we get into the home straight before the big day, i'll be using this site for my updates - https://www.windytv.com/?50.753,-2.717,8

I use it out here in Canada to plan my backcountry ski trips and has shown to be the most reliable. You can also map some of your own predictions based on the wind patterns etc.

Sorry, i know I'm just adding on more website to obsess over…

Blimey we hit 179 pages before the festival began last year in the weather thread.

Someone (I've forgotten their name) puts together a handy little graph which incorporates lots of the main forecast websites and their average rainfall predicted.

If that could happen again we'd all be most grateful!

Just give me 2013 weather again please and I will be extremely grateful. A shower on Thursday night and that was about it, rest of the weekend was nice and warm without being 2010 boiling and you could pretty much walk around in Trainers all weekend! Perfect!

second that, my first one and I think thats one reason it made such a good impression, good memories of my first time sat on park hill looking at the view taking it all in in the beautiful sunshine over the site....again? yes please!

2013 was my 1st one also, was awesome being up at the top of the Glasto sign looking down at the whole festival with mid / late 20s Sunshine, glorious! 2014 was'nt too bad. Missed tickets in 2015, back again for the mud bath last year. The weather wasn't that bad during the festival last year, just the ground got too much of a soaking in the weeks leading up to the event.

same run as me then apart from i was lucky enough in 2015 also.....ive had a good streak now I think about it 2013-2017 not missed a year yet! anyway yeah last year was ok but its just the little things not being able to sit down etc that you miss, not to mention the mud makes the walking feel twice as harsh on your legs towards end of the week, and some areas not even worth trying to access, my first time ive not even made it to the se corner or the greenfields.....just to muddy!

heres hoping 2017 is more like 13 not 16!

Could there be something in this? Only runs to 2011, some of the wettest years (according to the graphic) were '71, '82, '92, '98, '05, '07 and '11 - don't know enough about the last five years to suggest a pattern. Personally I think we're due a warm, dry one.

The dream for me:

Morning - Cloud (so us night owls can get our 40 winks),
Afternoon - Sunshine (but not absolutely scorching)
Night - mild with a tiny bit of rain (to stop a sandstorm from the ground drying out)

The rain can be either Morning or Night, thanks weather gods! B)
