alrapp
Any truth in this rumour?! I've heard it twice this week from two completely completely different sources that Cliff will play the Sunday slot :-( I think it would be the death of the legend spot. Get Aretha please!!! Get Aretha please!!! i doubt it. frontrunners look to be Diana Ross (most likely) and Phil Collins (second in line). i'd be surprised if it was anybody other than those two
dentalplan
Hmm unless the thread got deleted, I don't think it's been mentioned that he said to the Mirror that he'd love to play Glastonbury and has a series of June concerts lined up. It's gonna be Diana though, thankfully.
Rose-Colored Boy
If there's ever a year not to book a damn Tory for Glastonbury ! Cliff can stay as far away as physically possible, for the love of all sanity

merago
He's fishing for positive publicity right now- doesn't mean he'll actually get it. I don't see him as an act the festival would even consider booking right now.

eFestivals
Cliff can't do the legend slot - thank gawd - as he only has the Friday free. But if Cliff did play, do you think he'd be camping?
CaledonianGonzo
I'd be more worried about him hijacking the cider bus and driving it to Greece with Una Stubbs.

Fred Zepplin
Talk about kicking a man when he's down. Not only did I not get Glastonbury tickets it looks like I'm going to have to take my Gran to watch Cliff on the Saturday of Glastonbury. Still going to try in the re-sale but will have to get tickets for Cliff and go if I don't get Glastonbury tickets.

Martin Ashford
For the record, I saw Cliff at Knebworth back in 1990 and he played a well received and polished set to a massive audience. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it

Cliff may well wish to play Glastonbury, but I can't see the Eavii particularly wanting him.
