The three big logos in the middle of the poster of bands I recognise was the first thing my eyes were drawn to.

Edit: Although tbf if it wasn't for The xx being so instantly readable then maybe the other things like the logos for The Box and Temple would have caught my eye just as much. I just know as soon as I opened the tweet the first thing I saw was "THE XX' and then I read the other two headliners next to them and the rest of that stage's lineup before looking through the rest.

QotSA have announced their first show of 2017, Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in late July.

Probably pretty unlikely for Glasto though... But the whole Fuji Rock lineup is pretty great.

I think this might be UK fests get to end up being QOTSA/Paramore....R&L/Download take your pick, although I'm not 100% sure either would give QOTSA outright headliner.

Every time I see Aphex Twin announced for a festival and know he's not going to be announced for Glastonbury I feel a deep remorseful sinking feeling

Just seeing QOTSA active again is enough for me right now.

Hopefully this means we'll be getting an album later this year and maybe a few UK dates towards the end of the year.

The panic caused by Bon Iver announcing Eaux Claires has reminded me that I was getting worried about their lack of any European dates around Glasto. Surely they'd be at the likes of Roskilde/Werchter if they were over here? I know those festivals still have acts to announce but gah.

They have a UK tour finishing on the Friday of Glastonbury. Seems cruel for them not to appear. Though the price of their tickets does suggest that they may not take the lower fees of the smaller stages.

Think people just guessed that cos it'd mean a few days in a row if they did Saturday, but I could hardly see that being an issue for Kraftwerk. I think they could easily do either.

Yeah I mentioned it in the Latitude thread yesterday but there's so many festivals between Glastonbury and Latitude that they could play that surely if they were around they'd have been announced for one of them. I know he's appeared over the last couple of years but it's different bringing a whole band and crew over for just one festival so I'm not expecting them anymore.

Quite baffled by the apparent love for Jamiroquai on these boards. Always thought they were one of those bands everyone hated. I might go along out of curiosity but I feel like I've heard "Virtual Insanity" far more times than any human needs to just by being alive in the 90s.
